LA Lakers at Brooklyn Nets

Currently the hottest team in the NBA Brooklyn Nets(14-18) clashed with Los Angeles Lakers(18-13). The Lakers wanted to end their road trip with a victory, but the Nets would not allow it. Nets pushed their winning streak to 6 with the win against the Lakers 115-110. 6 is the longest winning streak for the Nets in nearly 4 years, when they had Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. D’Angelo Russell got 22 points and career high 13 assists for the home team. Russel has never won more than 5 games in a row in his entire career, so he was feeling great, but kept his confidence and told media reported that he is not satisfied yet and will try to win more than that. For the Lakers LeBron James bounced back from his worst game of the season, where he scored 13 points. Against the Nets he scored 36 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but that was not enough since Lakers had almost no help from their guards. Brooklyn used 12-0 run in the third quarter to gain their biggest lead and they were leading lakers 90 to 83 going into the 4th quarter. The biggest highlight in the game was Jarret Allens block on Lebrons dunk attempt. Lebron has almost 2000 dunk attempts in his entire NBA career and only 9 has been blocked, one of them is Allens block. LeBron told to the media that he needs more time to warmup than 20 years old Allen. The Nets are looking forward to increase their winning streak against the Chicago Bulls who are currently struggling and are one on the worst teams in the league.
